A Quick Exercise To Feel Better About Yourself

Write down 3 things you did well throughout the day. πŸ™‚

Plain and simple. You can do this every evening if you need to.

Sometimes it might be harder to find all 3 things, especially on the bad days. There’s nothing wrong if you write just one or 1 or 2 items on such days. There is always something between everything and nothing.

Do you have any experience with writing down your accomplishments? How does it make you feel?

I sometimes feel like a fraud and find endless critics right after the first good thing. Still working on my perfectionism.

  1. I’m afraid that checkmarks on a to do list are about the extent of writing down the good things I accomplished. Fortunately, I can share some of them with my husband each day. That helps. πŸ™‚

  2. Life at my age has fewer challenges, other than getting up in the morning. Though maybe one can count rescuing a bee or indulging one of the cats, but no…those things are every day. Perhaps I need to try harder.
