Healing – The Basics

If you ever lose yourself, it’s best to start with the basics again.

I’d recommend this video to everyone who is struggling with any sort of mental health issues. It might come handy to others as well, but for us, these routines are crucial.

It’s just another reminder, stuff you probably already know, but forget from time to time.

Many of us could use this guy as a parent we never had.

Of course, it’s not enough to just watch and listen. You actually need to do the stuff. Every. Single. Day.

This is where I’m failing the basics. I’m doing ̶e̶v̶e̶r̶y̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶r̶i̶g̶h̶t̶,̶ ̶I̶’̶m̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶s̶i̶s̶t̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶y̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ many things wrong AND I’m not consistent anymore. And both matters equally.

What about you, do you have any particular routine you stick to on a daily basis?

  • A single handed view on life!

I tried affirmations this week,I wasn’t convinced at first but after 4 days, Im stunned. I recommend them to anyone who’s feeling down. 5 times a day for 10 minutes. And at any other part of the day if my mind starts slipping and I’m feeling negative.

Thank you for sharing this video! Every morning I meditate. It’s difficult and I’m not good at it, but I am determined. Other things I do include affirmations, eating a salad each day, and exercising. What helps you heal?

This is what makes you good at it – just doing it. You don’t need to perfect things to be good at.
What helps me… You got me thinking and I should reconsider a few things, not just consistency. Thanks for the question. 🙂 I needed to update the post for that matter.
