The Benefits of Being Bored

How are you dealing with boredom, do you find it useful or does it suck?

There are some benefits about it. Boredom can stimulate us to become productive. Obviously, what we were doing at the moment wasn’t interesting enough to our brain.

We can use mindfulness or other types of meditation at such times. To cope with negative emotions that might come along, or to get the most out of the situation.

  1. Generally if I feel bored it means it’s time for a nap! 🙂 I’m a voracious reader and love the outdoors so if those feel “dull” it just means I’m tired

  2. Boredom is for the people who doesnt have any hobbies and doesnt spends time with themselfs for a moment. There are 100 of things to get busy with and have fun yet people are bored.

    • I would agree and disagree at the same time. Boredom can be also a part of depression. When you still know exactly what you can and would do, but everything appears as boring.
